AADES Leaders’ Forum 2010
Call for presentations
The AADES Organising Committee invites you to submit a presentation proposal for the 2010 Leaders’ Forum.
The year’s forum sessions will focus on the application of authentic learning for leaders and managers in a distance education environment.
As leaders in authentic learning, we are looking to AADES members to give presentations or lead workshops across the following four themes:
- Leadership and Management - How to improve your effectiveness as a leader in authentic learning in a distance education school.
- Indigenous Education - What does authentic learning mean to your leadership role for indigenous education?
- E-learning - How you can harness e-learning technologies to support authentic learning as a distance education provider.
- Professional Development - How you can support your staff’s professional development in an authentic learning environment for distance education.
E-learning workshops may run for 60 minutes. All other presentations will be allotted 45 minutes (30 minutes for presentation with the remaining time for questions and set up).
The Forum venue has wireless internet access. The IT set up will include use of a data projector, screens and speakers.
