Get published in the College Herald

Te Kura students have a chance to voice their thoughts, opinions and talents by submitting work for publication in The College Herald.

The College Herald is a weekly supplement published every Tuesday until 21 September 2010 in The New Zealand Herald that showcases student work.

If you are a North Island secondary school student from Year 9 to 13, you are invited to submit your graphics, illustrations, cartoons, and photography as well as written work of any genre or style.

You can submit work on any subject you think is important, but you can also choose to be inspired by a weekly theme.

Approximately 20 items of work will be selected for publication each week.

In addition to being published, you can win from a prize pool of over $60,000, including JB Hi-Fi vouchers and digital cameras.

How to register

Your teacher needs to register before you can send in your work and have it approved. See the College Herald website for more details. Good luck!
