Welcome to the 2020 Huinga Āko!
Huinga Āko are the space where you have an opportunity to work with a small group of students and your Kaimanaaki (Learning Advisor).
It’s a collaborative and fun space where you get to connect with your peers through interactive games and other activities.
This year you are encouraged to attend Huinga Āko. Students have told us that attending Huinga Āko makes a big difference to their learning and experience at Te Kura.
The Huinga Āko are also an opportunity to learn about:
-
How Te Kura works.
-
How your Kaimanaaki can help you to get organized.
-
Good study habits and setting goals.
-
What it means to be a good supervisor.
-
NCEA qualifications.
-
My Te Kura – the online learning environment.
-
Career possibilities.
If you would like to meet your Kaimanaaki at the Huinga Āko, please remember to phone or email beforehand to let them know you are attending.
We are all really looking forward to seeing you and your whanau.
