Supporting students
To enjoy and be successful at Te Kura courses, students need the support of their enrolling school as well as their Te Kura teacher.
Dual-enrolled students require:
- a supportive and structured environment
- a clear understanding of what study with Te Kura involves
- adequate study time that includes supervised school time
- necessary resources for their courses.
Our Dual Provider Partnership Agreement sets out your school’s responsibilities for supporting your students and ensuring they make the most of their studies. It also specifies the support you and your students will receive from Te Kura.
If you haven’t already, we recommend that your school appoints a dedicated school coordinator to arrange supervision and support for all students enrolled in Te Kura courses.
