Students who enjoy designing and making things should enrol in this subject. Technology students can choose to work in food technology, hard materials or fashion/textiles technology. Students use the design process and develop their technological skills in areas that interest them. Technology encourages students to think creatively and design practical solutions to problems they have identified. Students are expected to work with people and with resources in their community so that their projects are meaningful and authentic.
