How Summer School works
Summer School courses are accessed online through My Te Kura, our online learning platform. Your study is self-directed, which means you'll be responsible for managing your own learning and returning work on a regular basis. Unlike the main school year, wrap-around support won't be available over the summer. Subject kaiako will be available online to provide guidance and feedback on course material.
To succeed with Summer School and reach your goals, you'll need to be motivated, organised, and committed to working independently.
NCEA results
NCEA results for end-of-year exams will be released by NZQA mid-January.
Your Summer School results will be forwarded to your 2025 school to submit to NZQA for your 2025 RoA. Your school will be closed for much of December and January, so it is important to let them know that you have registered for Te Kura Summer School.
