Building a strong foundation for learning.
We work with you and your tamaiti to design a learning programme that fits your world - at home, in your community and online. Learning happens at your child's pace and follows their interests. Our kaimahi will support you and your tamaiti all the way.
Te Ara Tipu focuses on developing foundational literacy, numeracy and digital literacy skills based on the New Zealand Curriculum, interwoven with Te Ara Pounamu, our local curriculum. We offer a balanced mix of online and offline activities so there is a wide range of learning opportunities in different contexts.
Each ākonga is allocated a kaimanaaki who works closely with your tamaiti and their whānau to develop a Personalised Learning Plan (PLP) that values their identity, language and culture. Your tamaiti can set learning and personal goals based on their interests, abilities and learning needs.
