We support learning in te reo Māori, whether you're just starting or fully immersed. You can learn te reo and other subjects in ways that suit your reo level and learning goals.
Te Aka Taumatua is our centre of excellence for bilingual and immersion programmes from Years 1 to 13. Learning is grounded in te ao Māori, and integrates the threads of Te Ara Pounamu, our local curriculum, with Te Marautanga o Aotearoa and the New Zealand Curriculum. Kaimanaaki work with each ākonga, their whānau and their hapori to create personalised learning programmes that promote success for all as Māori.
